It’s Our Blog Anniversary!

Hello Friends,

It’s our anniversary! Today, I’ve been blogging at A Sista’s Journey for one year. I wanted to take this time to thank you so much for dropping in to spend time with me. Thank you for reading, commenting, and sharing my blog posts with your loved ones.

One year = 158 blog posts with over 8,000 views, so I thank you.

Here are the most viewed posts of the year:

1. HOT TOPIC: I Go to Church with White People – discussing racial reconciliation and the church

2. Natasha’s Study: Elisa Morgan’s She Did What She Could Chapter 1 – God’s love radically changes us so that we are different and can therefore make a difference in the world (If you are looking for a great summer read, I highly recommend this book and the entire book summary discussion is listed under – Natasha’s Study, Book Discussions.)

3. Man in the Mirror: Are you comfortable with the person that you see in the mirror? Is God asking you to look at yourself and make a change?

If you want to give an anniversary present, please:

1. Ask yourself friends to follow @asistasjourney on Twitter

2. Subscribe to the blog. It’s over there, to the right. Simply insert your email address.

3. Keep reading as I look forward to dialoging with you.

4. Read and comment on my article at Christianity Today Her.meneutics website. This is how I feel about Beyonce’s message to girls:

Most importantly, let me hear from you today. What topics or focus areas would you like to chat about this upcoming year? Have you read any books that you would like to discuss online? Is there anything burning in your heart that you just have to get out? Let me hear about it.

I write with love to my Savior and King who first loved me and with love to you, my fellow Sisters and Brothers on the journey. Be encouraged. Run and don’t grow weary. Walk and don’t faint and when all else fails, stand!

For His glory, Natasha

  1. Congratulations on your one year blog anniversary. I read an article you recently wrote concerning Beyonce’ and I just want to say thank you! The article is not only truth, it is awakening! I will be following your articles and sharing them with others in order to inspire and educate. Again, thanks for your contribution to my womanhood. 🙂

  2. One year!! Wow, that truly flew by, congrats.

    – Power of the tongue
    – Spiritual Warfare
    – Comparing Christianity to other religions. Why do we believe what we believe?
    – Modern Day Idols..

    1. Hi Gina, Thanks so much for the recommendations. I will certainly keep these in mind. I may write a book on spiritual warfare! Seriously, it is a topic that we need to continuously revisit. I addressed modern day idols a little bit during the “Counterfeit Gods” book discussion, so check that out under “Natasha’s Study.” Much Love, me

  3. Hi Sister!! I don’t have time to get on the computer and read e-mails because I am going to school. So far, I have taken English and recieved an A-Pre Algebra-A, Socioligy-B! I will start back, next semester with Beginning Algebra. I am going to line a tutor up with this one! I want a degree on Addictive Counceling and I may just continue on for a Psychology Major. God has been so good in my life. I get a donation every Monday from Panara Bread and discovered ALOT more homeless people! We will be making bagged lunches once a month through the chuch that I go to, to take out to the homeless in the Glen Burnie, Severna Park area. When I come to my e-mails in between classes to delete the buildup of over 7000 e-mails, I always make it a point to stop in and read your work. God,Church, school, ministry, and family is my life. Step son has been accepted to Arizona State University and we will be going to orientation next week. Don’t stop doing what your doing cause its ALL Gods work! Blessings and Love Jo
