Why Reconciliation Needs #Justice

At the end of 2012, I completed a three month blog series on Racial Reconciliation. Since then, I have continued to discuss racial issues, and particularly racial division and the racial reconciliation that is needed in the church. I do this out of a strong conviction that God wants all of his people from every tribe, nation, language, people or ethnic group in come together, remain in unity and worship him in spirit and truth.

Dr. Tony Evans’ book, Oneness Embraced: A Fresh Look at Reconciliation, the Kingdom, and Justice is one of the best books I have read on this topic.

Let there be no doubt, racial reconciliation is a kingdom issue and it is a matter of justice. Christian author and social psychologist, Dr. Christena Cleveland, reminds us of this truth in a powerful piece titled, Why Reconciliation Needs Justice.
