She redefines beauty at Byrdie Beauty, Snapchat, and beyond to amplify the stories of Women of Color.
How do you love your neighbors as yourself if you don’t even love yourself. It’s having grace that I am not this perfect flawless person.
Medgina Saint-Elien
In this episode Medgina begins our conversation by sharing her personal life story and her journey of discovering the difference between joy and happiness. She also shares about much of her story has been a journey of restoring her innocence and her perception of God. Our conversation then shifts to the idea that we need to let go of certain things in our life, and even if we think it can’t be that simple, we just have to let it go. Medgina also shares about her grief of not accepting herself sooner in light of who God made her to be. Medgina then shares her insights into the needs of Generation Z and how at the core this generation is searching for identity. We then move our discussion to looking at the impacts of social media on Generation Z and how it affects their need for identity.
