Leadership: Say “No”

The point is, when you say “No” to one thing, you are actually saying “Yes” to something else. We are not as effective when we are doing tasks that we only feel compelled to do. Furthermore, fulfilling those tasks puts us out of reach from where we can truly exercise the uniqueness of our gifts for the uplifting of the kingdom in that particular season of our lives.

Beth Moore’s Prayer for Young Leaders

We are one Body
Our unity is in our diversity
Surrender yourself daily to LOVE
Humble yourself daily to truly LIVE
The future is in good hands
Because it’s in God’s Hands
Be strong and courageous
Be of good cheer!
Jesus is with you
And He will keep you strong till the end
Now unto Him Who is able To keep you from falling
Be glory and majesty Power and authority
Through Jesus Christ our Lord Amen

Leaders: Why attend the Synergy 2011 Conference?

This conference is for Christians who are not content with showing up to church on Sunday mornings and adjusting as life passes them by. This conference is for the Christian who understands the responsibilities of evangelism, discipleship, and humbly sharing the love of Jesus by showing mercy and advocating for justice for all people everywhere.

Synergy is about men and women loving, learning, and serving together. It is about connecting with others on the journey and equipping them to serve as God intended. Synergy is a place for leaders who are humble, broken, and challenged by the responsibilities that God has entrusted to them. Synergy is for people who understand that Jesus has the victory, and stand on guard to fight the battles until his return.
